                    Article from The Daily Standard, Red Bank, New Jersey, November 26, 1909, titled: A Strong Football Eleven. The Fort Hancock football team has been defeated but once during the season, being beaten by the Fort Slocum team. The reason given for Fort Hancock's defeat is that their coach was transferred recently from Sandy Hook to Fort Socum and gave away all the signals of the Fort Hancock team,
