(Kingsbridge, The Bronx, New York)

Picture of Webb's Academy and Home for Shipbuilders (1894). At Fordham Heights, overlooking the beautiful valley of the Harlem ... fourteen acres of land and built Webb's Academy and Home for Shipbuilders, which was first occupied in 1894. High on the bluff the great building, of Romanesque style of architecture, built of stone and brick, with round arches on the upper tiers of windows, is a noble landmark that can be seen from afar. Arthur B. Jennings, architect; 122 foot high tower.
