The Old Stone House, a pivotal site for the patriots' withdrawal during the Battle of Brooklyn (Long Island), was the clubhouse for Washington Park.
Washington Park #1 was the home of the major league American Association Brooklyn Bridegrooms (Dodgers) 1884-1889 (burned down)
The Bridegrooms moved to the National League in 1890.
Rebuilt at same site in Gowanus for 1890: Washington Park #2.
Washington Park #2 was the home of the Brooklyn Bridegrooms/Superbas (Dodgers) in 1890.
The NL baseball team moved to Eastern Park in 1891.
Washington Park #3 was built across the way from WP 1 & 2, in Park Slope.
Home field of the National League Brooklyn Superbas (Dodgers) 1898 to 1912.
Home field of the Federal League Brooklyn Tip Tops 1914.
Washington Park #4 was rebuilt in concrete and steel
